Tarot Card Meanings

The Tarot Major Arcana, each card has a myriad meanings & symbols that unlock more mysteries contained in the Major keys. Often when a questioner selects a Major key as a significator I like to express the feelings that each card gives rise to for me. Almost always these inbuilt affirmations have a strange relevance to the person sat in front of me & where they are on their current path. Here is a list of correspondences, I hope you enjoy them :

1 Magician – What skill do you have that you would like to get paid for, Quit planning how you’re going to use what you know, learn, or possess. Your gifts just are; be grateful and their purpose will be clear.
2 High Priestess – have you really listened to your internal voice, intuition ? Listen to the wind blow. It carries a message of yesterday and tomorrow-and now. NOW counts
3 Empress – Take nothing for granted: re-engage with nature. Marvel at the wonders of the seasons.
4 Emperor - Set your own pace. When someone is pushing you, it’s OK to tell them they’re pushing. You are just as good as anyone who has ever lived.
5 Hierophant – What ritual do you need to establish, Create a place in your home, at your work, in your heart where you can go for quiet and recollection. You deserve it.
6 Lovers – All you need is love though you must truly love yourself before your soulmate will appear.
7 Chariot – What do you need to fight What battle can you not win ? Slow down. You are not responsible for doing it all yourself, right now
8 Strength – You need to draw on your inner reserves, Taste your food. Nature provides it to delight as well as to nourish.
9 Hermit – What have you internalised, Take time just to think. Action is good and necessary, though only useful if tempered by considered thought.
10 The Wheel of Fortune – Accept unconditionally now that the wheel turns in your favour. Really reconnect with life. Take time to truly listen to those you value.
11 Justice – Major choices will you be brave enough – Significant life changes can now have magical impact.
12 Hanged Man – You are suspended, Allow yourself time to be lazy and unproductive. Rest isn’t luxury; it’s a necessity.
13 Death – Man dies many times in his life. What would you do if this was the last week of your existence on this plane? . Remember a happy, peaceful time in your past. Rest there, truly savour each moment.
14 Temperance – Talk slower. Talk less. Don’t talk. Communication isn’t measured by words. Think deeper, look longer, nothing is as it seems.
15 The Devil – Beware Inner vices. Every thought has consequences. Thoughts become things. Use your thoughts to create your new reality.
16 The Tower – The facade crumbles, Your world will not collapse Give yourself permission to be late sometimes. Life is for living, not scheduling.
17 The Star – Rest on your laurels. Regroup to be ready to accept the new bright prospects that are set to appear.
18 The Moon – Dreams, Notice the sun and the moon as they rise and set. They are remarkable for their steady pattern of movement, not their speed
19 The Sun – Reconnect to your inner child. Make time for play – the things you like to do. Whatever your age, your inner child needs recreation.
20 Judgement – Don’t judge your words. When you talk with someone, don’t think about what you’ll say next. Thoughts will spring up naturally if you let them.
21 The World – Envision love engulfing everyone on the planet. Listen for the next the song of a bird; imagine that song carrying a message of joy all around the world
