My Relationship with The Tower
In my experience the Tower appears during periods of uncertainty. Instability that rocks you to the foundations. It can often refer to bricks & mortar problems. I recently gave a reading to a a lady in Australia & the Tower card took a predominant place in the spread. It was compounded by several other unsettling cards including The Devil, the card that precedes The Tower in the Major Arcana sequence & also The Hierophant. My intuition told me that the Devil in this scenario referred to drugs & also prostitution., as you can appreciate, I really didn't want to bring this up with the seeker in question until I was sure that I was correct ! . It transpired that she had rented the house to some unscrupulous tenants who were indeed selling drugs & involved in prostitution. The Tower told me that structural damage had occurred to the house & The Hierophant indicated that an official body had become involved. The council had insisted that the seeker rebuild communal fencing that had been destroyed by these individuals. The Tower, in her case, indicated that her world was literally falling apart. Thankfully after completing the repairs the lady in question quickly sold the property for much more than previous estimates.  With the Tower, often after periods of great upheaval, a new calm is revealed, truths are exposed. When the Tower appears to me I await the lightning bolt with trepidation, safe in the knowledge that a new reality awaits behind the crumbling facade.

careful with any matters involving material aspects.
An incident will fire your temper, any perceived victory

My Relationship with The Devil
I have struggled many times with the snarling Devil inside myself. I have never felt so powerful as the time I dressed as Satan himself for the image on this card. Yes I won the fancy dress competition that coincided with the photo shoot, but at great cost. The body paint destroyed the carpet of my rented apartment, I lost my deposit & had to pay for a replacement. The same night although I was freezing & could barely walk in my ' hooves ' I could not get a taxi to come near me. Relevance ?, the Devil can be great fun when released  but always costs us dearly in the end. I have a relative in-law who has a very serious Devil inside her that is only released when she drinks alcohol. She has been sober for many years now, however whenever I give her a reading the Devil appears prominently every time. She is no longer scared or upset, just bored that her annual reading is dominated by The Lord of Darkness. If she ever forgot his presence though, I would not like to be around …

The Chains on the Devil card are easily released, if you feel chained to a situation, it is up to you to ask why you are allowing this to occur. More often than not the Devil appears to represent relationships that have long passed the initial excitement & now the partners are complacent, comfortable with each other, but at the same time resentful. If you feel like this in your relationship it is up to both of you to re-ignite  the passion. The Devil will try & work his wicked way between you. Swallow your pride, what made the relationship work in the first place ? Turn to face The Devil  & he will surely disappear ….

I firmly associate with the Hanged Man. When I was a child I would often hang upside down
from the tree in our front garden. The flow of blood to my head helped me make sense of my
daily circumstance. In fact even today I will sleep with the cross legged position depicted on
the card. This is the card of a man at the crossroads of life, somewhere I am very familiar with.
It denotes a person of indecision, I am a dreamer who cannot accept everyday responsibilities

My Relationship with Strength
I have many internal demons that I have faced through the power of the Strength card, whenever we feel the need to run wild, to lose control, we should contemplate the message of this card. Can we use this power to our advantage ?.
Those who have connected to ” The Beast Within ” appreciate the image of the young woman exercising control over the powerful lion . Passionate proud people often struggle with this inner quality. Problems can arise from allowing this often dangerous side of your persona free rein. We are taught to always exert power over our subconscious instincts. Great courage is necessary in overcoming the beast within, to tame it's energy & repeatedly focus this power constructively.
This card often appears when we have an addiction, physical or emotional. An addiction can rule us, we need to face that challenge on sometimes a daily basis. Only when we are able to stare our weaknesses in the face, without feeling compelled to give in to their power, have we truly absorbed the energy of the Strength card. Our weaknesses will never go away, we must learn how to acknowledge their existence, face the challenge and diffuse their power.

As I have said,The Chariot is being drawn by two
sphinxes, one black and one white, indicating
a choice needs to be made. Material matters now
stabilise. You should focus on how you feel. you
need to raise your spirits. A recent disagreement will
be resolved. if you have been feeling anxious the Chariot
breezes through to clear your thoughts. Contact may
be re-established with an old acquaintance possibly
after an unexpected communication.
Balance returns to your life, you must learn to mix
commitments with socialising, now is a  time of personal development.
An unexpected journey or a surprise party will be announced.
You will excel at your current endeavours, you must
prepare for a period of sustained focus. Restlessness is

My Relationship with The Chariot

The Chariot is the first card to transcend to a higher level on the Tree of Life. It is a victorious card that symbolises success. For me it heralds a rise to a higher level of consciousness, to see the bigger picture if you will. Some outmoded ways of thinking, friends or habits will inevitably fall by the wayside. I know for a fact that allowing emotions or an uncontrolled thought process are a recipe for disaster. You must grab the reins of The Chariot & steer your life towards a more fulfilling reality. Like the Charioteer, I am aware of everything that is happening in reality & across my inner landscape simultaneously. This is tempered by intuition absorbed through the voice of The Hierophant, such awareness can often be a blessing making me aware of developments almost before they happen. More often though this awareness is exhausting & requires masterful self control over thought patterns to keep my personal Chariot on course. I find mantras useful to calm the over active mind, especially in crowds or areas with a high concentration of technology. Try it next time you find yourself stressing out, silently chant Om Mani Padme Hum, ( the mantra of Chenrezi, the Buddha of compassion ) . It has got me through many a trying tube journey….
