When The Three appears to me I know that I or the questioner are in a position of control we are above our situation & can to a certain extent direct the outcome. Patience is necessary now, emotion should be avoided as success is waiting but only when we can remain calm & focused enough to push forward for the final phase.

The Two of Wands appears to me when a long held dream is coming to reality, manifesting itself in my ' real life '. Many of my ideas are constantly on the back burner, invading all areas of my thoughts & deeds. Today the next phase of a process of years is falling in to place. I am writing this on my souped up new MacBook, the process of documenting my travels through my deck made easier by another huge leap in technology. My ideas coming to reality as they happen rather than having to wait for my previous set up to churn & grind. My words winging their way wirelessly through the ether, I still find that amazing. Traditionally this card features a merchant staring out to sea from the roof of his castle. I too sense that ships that I sent out long ago are now set to return, laden with promise.

If this card appears near The Emperor a chance of promotion is indicated, but not until a presentation of worth has been successfully made to a superior. My Relationship with The Ace of Wands
The Ace of Wands appears to me when I feel that I need to up my game. The Ace fills me with enthusiasm & bursts through like the first rays of spring, to re-energise me & drive me forward. I never feel more optimistic than when this card appears to me. I have just given an inspirational reading featuring many Aces to someone who thought that 'only other people had luck or opportunity'. My Relationship with The World
The World. When I get the feeling that everything is going to plan, all aspects of my life are working. When I feel stable & ready to face anything, safe in the knowledge that things will turn out in my favour, that is when I can expect to welcome The World in to my reading. The state of existence embodied by The World in Tarot is the culmination of a rocky journey down The Royal Road. When I notice that I am well adjusted in all areas of my existence, when I can focus on what is truly important, to realise that most worries are an illusion, that I can transcend my earth bound existence. When I am no longer reactionary, have relinquished my ego and feel at one with my universe, that is The World where I wish to reside. It is unfortunately, almost impossible to maintain this exalted state for any length of time. Too many distractions & temptations crowd our modern existence. This is called in Buddhism ' The Thousand Things '. The happiest I have ever been is when I was living healthily, practising yoga regularly, cycling my daily journeys, an ideal existence. I find the lifestyle in the far east, especially Thailand, soothes my spirit. Who knows, one day when The World spins in to my orbit, maybe I will be in a position to split my life between the whirl of London & somewhere more relaxing.

The World has one final message. We have forgotten what we knew to be important. Consumerism now drives most peoples existence. I am writing this in the sun at Christmas, now the present giving has passed we are left with getting our priorities right for the promise of the New Year. Some people think they will only be happy when they earn more, to be able to buy more stuff. They feel that endlessly chasing for newer, better things, they will somehow feed the gnawing desire that burns within them. I know this is not true, now when I hear myself say ” I need xxx” I see if I can in fact replace “need” in that sentence with ” want “. Pretty much all of the time I can. I am now very careful to count my blessings, I am in a happy relationship in a comfortable home & can cover my bills. Yes I am striving towards a better life for myself, I make sure, however, to truly appreciate the life that I have got.

Every time The World appears in a reading incredible opportunities are presented. You will certainly have worked hard to reach this pinnacle of The Major Arcana. Move forward with certainty, you are outside of the realms of normality, at the top of your game, enjoy ! .

woman & child. They joyously rise up naked
celebrating the call.

The Judgement Tarot Card – Interpretation :
This card predicts the satisfactory accomplishment
of work well done, regeneration of mind or body
after a period of suffering and waste, triumph over
all odds, a legal judgment in one's favor.
Friendship exalted. The renunciation of the married state.
Seeing clearly, awakening.
The moment of decision.
Renewing one's attitude and approach.
Opening to spiritual influences.
Freedom from past guilt; a strong desire to improve.
The ability to see all sides of an issue or situation.

My Relationship with Judgement
I regularly renew my relationship with The Tarot through
meditation. I can conjure up the images wherever I am in
my world & step through the frame, into theirs.
One of the last times I travelled into the Judgement card,
I was on a beach listening to a hypnosis mp3 on my phone.
As I stepped in to the card I could actually hear the trumpet
of the Angel, I could actually walk behind the souls being
released by the call. I had conversations with them, they
asked me what was holding me back ? Tarot was my destiny,
always had been, & I had to now commit to follow that path.
This was my ' through the looking glass ' moment,
as I counted back to ' the real world ' I was struck with awe.
From all of my many thousands of encounters with
Tarot, this was by far the most astonishing.
I was momentarily afraid that I would never come back
through the frame but then realised that this was a portal
that I could step through at any time. The door to
the world of Tarot had opened for me. This was my
wake up call …

Reflected in calm waters the moon is visible.
Dogs alert in the silver glow. An eerie light emerges
from the twin towers.

The Moon Tarot Card – Interpretation :
This card can herald anxiety and insecurity.
A turbulent state of mind. Badly placed in the
spread it tells of high level stress bordering on exhaustion
and disillusionment with the current path. If well
placed, such as the central card, it denotes peace, visions
come to reality, calmness of mind, and the victory of the
soul over the turmoil of the mind. Fear & anxiety will be driven
back to the place from which it had no right to come.

My Relationship with The Moon
The Moon influences the tides of the oceans, our bodies are comprised mostly of water. Therefore it makes sense that The Moon has effects on the human body. Whenever I notice The Moon, at whatever phase of the lunar cycle I feel its power. My dreams are always more intense around the Full Moon, I have received visions around this phase & always try & remember any hidden meanings from particularly lucid dreams by taking notes as soon as I awake. You have to be careful to sift such information as some can be illusions bordering on madness while others can be flashes of inspiration revealing exciting opportunity. The influence of The Moon should never be underestimated. If I am privileged to view The Moon during rural walks or on holiday in a beach setting, I always try to renew my connection to its shining power.
